I'm fairly new to the herping hobby.  That is if you don't count the 100s of turtles, salamanders, snakes, toads & frogs I caught and brought home in my pocket when I was a kid!  We started back in 2007 with a corn snake, a leopard gecko and then a ball python.  So I am learning every day.  When I say "we" I mean my son and I.  It was his idea to get a reptile in the first place after talking with a friend who had one.  Now, 2 years later, he has passed some of his reptiles to me - he is now 16, drives a car and has decided girls are more fun than reptiles!  I have re-discovered my affection for reptiles and have added a few of my own to the collection.  As of this writing, we have 4 corn snakes, a california kingsnake, 2 ball pythons, and 2 leopard geckos.  I just purchased 2 ball pythons from Shannon here at SD Reptiles so that ups our total count to 11.  

I'm a mother of 2 and grandmother of 5, married and living in Minnesnowta.  I enjoy music, photography, cooking and gardening.  I'm unemployed but looking.  If you want to know more just ask!  I'm always happy to respond.
